Our Mission, Vision, and Goals
A Hand UP Coaching is a 501 (c)(3), non-profit organization dedicated to providing
career success coaching to action oriented low-income women.
Our clients, identified through our alliance partners, are matched with volunteer
professional coaches. Our volunteer professional coaches guide clients to improved
lives anchored in new understanding of how to approach life and career challenges
more effectively leading to greater self awareness, improved confidence, and
career success.
Mission
Our mission is to coach women who are moving from unfavorable living
environments to gain greater self-confidence, independence, and economic status.
Vision
Our vision is for every woman to know she is valuable, loved, and capable of
achieving anything she is wiling to work toward in her life.
Goals
Affiliation with other organizations currently providing services to
women who are moving into the working world, leaving government assistance and
rebuilding their lives.
Affiliation with government agencies, other organizations, companies and individuals
interested in donating their resources, abilities and/or services in this mission.
Interface with other non-profit organizations to build relationships for delivery
of A Hand UP Coaching programs.
Recruitment of professional coaches for volunteer positions to do individual
tailored one on one coaching and group coaching based on a specifically designed
A Hand UP Coaching program model.
Development of a focused base of resources to serve our clients in the most
effective and helpful ways possible.
Establishment of affiliated chapters of A Hand UP Coaching in other countries
throughout the world.
