Pam McConnell has accepted the offer to be the new Executive Director. This positions A Hand UP Coaching to expand personnel talents across the board as A Hand UP Coaching rises to meet the exciting opportunities to continue to fulfill our organizational mission.

While attending classes at CoachU, former Executive Director Taylor Hunt realized that women overcoming adverse circumstances could most benefit from coaching and least afford it. A Hand UP Coaching was created to meet that need by using professional volunteer coaches to provide one-on-one coaching to action-oriented low-income women. Since its inception in 2001, A Hand UP Coaching has served hundreds of women.

Pam McConnell, a graduate of CoachU, has worked with A Hand UP Coaching since January 2002, first as a volunteer coach, then as Affiliate Relations Director, a position she held from July 2002 until becoming Executive Director.
